Other Parks to Visit in Orlando

If you thought that Disney World was the only Attraction, you were wrong. There are many other attractions in Orlando to visit and enjoy. That’s why when somebody is planning a trip to Orlando, it is difficult to stay only a few days.

We created this section in order to offer a menu of other amazing places you wouldn’t like to miss:

Sea World Park & Entertainment:

Sea World: This is the first and popular marine park created in Orlando. Mainly recognized because of dolphins & sharks. You can experience some interactive adventure programs. Some shows with animals like polar bears, whales, manatees, sea lions, penguins and more.

Bush Gardens: Just one hour west of Sea World, you can find this tremendous park which make you feel as if you were in Africa. You can take a safari, be close to amazing animals, ride some roller coasters, just to mention some of the activities.

Discovery Cove, the perfect place to swim with dolphins, dive, see tropical fishes, stingrays and where the visitors can feed the exotic birds. Discovery Cove admission includes access to one day park and also one day to one of the other Seaworld Orlando parks: Sea world, Busch Gardens Africa or Aquatica.

Aquatica: is the water park of Sea World and is located just across the street (of Sea World)

Universal Orlando: consists of two theme parks and one Water Park:

Universal Studios: the movie and tv based theme park. this is the park to experience the behind the scenes and different attractions of your favorite movies such as: the well known and famous ET, Shrek 4, Terminator, etc.

Island of Adventure: Rides, shows and interactive activities takes you to a magical journey. The hulk coaster, spider man attraction, Jurassic Park river are some of the main attractions at this park. In addition, there is special area (like a park inside this park) related to the Harry Potter world with a number of specific attractions for those who followed every single movie and are Harry Potter fans.

Theme Tickets: you can select Park to Park access(you can access both park the same day) or one park access.

Wet ‘n Wild: this water park has several multi-person rides, single person rides, kids area, and different water attractions.

Tip: When buying the Wet ‘n wild ticket, you can add the admission to one or the two Universal Parks with considerable discounts!

Also at Universal you will find on site hotels, Hard Rock Cafe, Blue Man Group show at one of the hotels. There is also a well known place named Citywalk where you can have a nice walk around and at the same time reach some shops, restaurants.

TIP: There is a ticket called Orlando FlexTicket or Orlando FlexTicketPlus which provides unlimited admission to 5 or 6 parks mentioned below for up to 14 consecutive days. It combine Sea World Parks with Universal Parks.

Orlando FlexTicket: includes Wet ‘n Wild, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, SeaWorld’s Aquatica.

Orlando FlexTicketPlus: includes Wet ‘n Wild, Universal Studios Florida, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld, SeaWorld’s Aquatica and Bush Gardens Tampa Bay.

Gatorland: a place where live thousands of crocodiles and alligators (some of them have appeared in movies, TV series or advertisements). The park combines a zoo, a bird area, small aquatic park, an eco tour and shows outdoor plenty of of action.

As you have noticed there are several parks and places to visit and have fun. Our recommendation is to search all these, choose the ones you want to visit and plan your trip based on that. You should arrive Orlando with the itinerary already planned.
